Why Goobers? That’s easy. We love peanuts. Roasted Salted, Dry Roasted, Virginia, Spanish, in Candies or in Cans, we just like ‘em. In the South, peanuts are also known as goobers. Especially boiled peanuts. During the Spring and Summer months people in the south flock to roadside stands to be able to get fresh boiled peanuts. They are a taste treat that is strange to most Californians. They are a little hard to get into, and they can be a little messy, but once you taste the tender saltiness of Goobers you might be addicted .
